Guidelines & Rules at CRAP H3
To ensure that everyone has a good time, we must have a couple of guidelines and rules. We try to keep these to a minimum but there will be a couple to keep in mind.
Hares (those who are setting the trail that day) do not pay „hash cash“. Hash cash is the money used to buy flour, chalk, snacks. Other extras like beer stops during trails, boat rides, ferry crossings, etc. are not covered by hash cash. If you want your trail to include anything like that, you may need to speak with the Hash Master/Beer Bitch to arrange something.
Hash cash only covers the Hash Beer (the beer & drinks we have at the beginning and in circle at the end).
Hares are responsible for setting a trail/run. These are usually set in flour and/or chalk. Chalk is usually used for marking pavement and flour is used for marking parts of trail that go through nature (mountains, fields, forests, etc.).
Hares setting trail during winter need to account for shorter daylight time. This could mean either a shorter trail or starting the run earlier.
If two Hares have set the run, it is always a good idea to have one at the front of the pack and one at the rear. The aim is always to try and get the pack of walkers, runners and piss-heads back to the same spot at the same time.
The Pack (everyone else taking part in the trail) should try and turn up at least 5 minutes before the run. This lets people have a drink, chat and warm-up. It is usually best ot bring a mug for beer and 5 euro for Hash Cash. Depending on the type of trail, it may be a good idea to bring a change of clothes and footwear.
